Personal Site VS Organisational Site

The major differences between them are that, the blog is run by a single person, and the views expressed within are solely the lone author(s)’ point of view and not endorsed in any way by any corporate entity.

The site with the article is run by a corporate entity and the author of the referenced article is an employee of said corporate entity, and can be said to be endorsed by his/her employer.

Day 1

Hi, this is Joel here making a blog for my VT CDS, UIR.

As per intructions, my first post shall accomodate some requests for personal information as per instructions at uirblogger.blogspot.com

I'm currently on semester-end vacation after finishing my 2nd year at Temasek Polytechnic, pursuing a diploma in Internet and Multimedia Development.

I'm working full-time at an event management company, but i will be attending UIR for the upcoming 3 weeks and thus will be reporting for work during lunch time everyday.

My interests include competitive gaming, pool, and some music, although not all kinds.

I wanna sleep, but unfortunately i am friggin' busy everyday, what with work and now UIR. I'm not going to be able to have a good sleep for a long time.

Here are two websites that i find particularly interesting:

http://www.youtube.com/ - Videos that would otherwise not be found anywhere else can be found on this awesome free-hosting website. I wonder how much bandwith they currently eat.

http://www.avengedsevenfold.com/ - The official website for American hard rock/heavy metal band, Avenged Sevenfold. Their new, eponymous album is an audio treat to the ears.

Anyways, for UIR class today, i have learned about citation and blogging. Very interesting.

Ok, now that this is done, i'm going to post the link to this blog on the UIR forums.

I wanna finish this and head to work soon.
